Brattkort

About brattkort

Brattkort is Norges klatreforbund's (the Norwegian Climbing Federation) universal proof of basic safety competence — a lead-climbing certification that gives you access to climbing walls all over the country. Our course runs over two course days, Saturday and Sunday 10:00–16:00 both days, and covers both top-rope and lead climbing. You sit the Brattkort test with us afterwards, and you agree the day for the test with your course leader during the course. Once you pass the test, you get a temporary course certificate valid for 2 weeks, until your Brattkort is registered in Norges klatreforbund's database. Built on Norges klatreforbund's course template, with a focus on belaying technique, equipment use and how to conduct yourself in a climbing centre.
