How it works

  • Drop-in — no advance booking needed
  • Experienced instructors are on hand to help
  • Harness, climbing shoes, board, scooter and helmet for rent at reception
  • On-site café — coffee from Stavanger Kaffebrenneri and simple food like yoghurt and noodles
  • Unlimited play time — stay as long as you like
  • Indoor shoes and active clothing recommended — rent if you don't have them
  • Free parking right outside at Tvedtsenteret

    Norway's national climbing-federation safety course — required for lead climbing. Weekend course over two days.

Indoor via ferrata.

A secured climbing route high under the hall's ceiling. You wear a harness with a safety line throughout, and a guide walks you through the safety routines before you start. Both routes — blue and yellow — are open on Saturdays.

Via Ferrata is a bookable add-on — it is not part of the standard ticket. Need a day other than Saturday? Email us at post@playground.no and we'll find a time.
