An activity day the class will be talking about
3 500 m² of indoor action in the heart of Stavanger — climbing, skate, scoot, trampolines and net park under one roof. Take the whole class out of the classroom for a day, whatever the weather.
What the class gets to try
- Climbing on autobelay, skate and scoot across the whole park, jumps and slides in the trampoline and net park — the pupils choose for themselves what they want to take on
- Our instructors are on the floor all day, helping anyone who wants to try something new
- Via Ferrata — a secured climbing route 20 metres up under the roof with a certified guide (yellow route from 120 cm) — normally runs on Saturdays, but can be set up for school groups by arrangement
- A typical session lasts 2–3 hours, but we adapt to the time frame you have
- Your own room as a base for bags, jackets and a break along the way
- Changing rooms, indoor shoes and climbing gear can be hired at reception
- Catering can be ordered in advance via Sabi Sushi, Matsalen or Bankers — we'll find something that fits the budget

Who it's for
We welcome all year groups — from first grade to upper secondary. The activities suit every level, and the instructors adapt the programme to age and experience so that both first-graders and final-year students get challenges at their own level. If you need something specific — extra accommodations, a particular focus, or combining several classes — just let us know, and we'll figure it out together.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to bring extra adults?
The teacher counts as the responsible adult for the class, and our instructors are with you in the hall the whole time. For the youngest year groups we recommend bringing one or two extra adults along — just so there are enough hands if several pupils want to try something at once.
What do the pupils need to bring?
Indoor shoes are mandatory in the trampoline and net park — bring clean shoes, or hire a pair at reception. Clothes they can move freely in. We have climbing gear and helmets to lend out.
Can we book Via Ferrata together with the visit?
Via Ferrata normally runs on Saturdays (yellow route from 120 cm, blue from 150 cm — always with a certified guide). For school visits on weekdays: email us at post@playground.no in advance, and we'll look at a solution for the group.
