How it works
- Drop-in — no advance booking needed
- Experienced instructors are on hand to help
- Harness, climbing shoes, board, scooter and helmet for rent at reception
- On-site café — coffee from Stavanger Kaffebrenneri and simple food like yoghurt and noodles
- Unlimited play time — stay as long as you like
- Indoor shoes and active clothing recommended — rent if you don't have them

Climbing course
Earn your Brattkort with us
Norway's national climbing-federation safety course — required for lead climbing. Weekend course over two days.

Indoor via ferrata.
A secured climbing route high under the hall's ceiling. You wear a harness with a safety line throughout, and a guide walks you through the safety routines before you start. Both routes — blue and yellow — are open on Saturdays.
Via Ferrata is a bookable add-on — it is not part of the standard ticket. Need a day other than Saturday? Email us at post@playground.no and we'll find a time.

Lukas Dírer For the third year in a row we had our family birthday celebration for our son at Playground. The staff are very welcoming and everyone, from age 6 to age 81, could find something to do. Really recommend Playground in general. Laid back atmosphere and a lot of value for the admissions ticket, whether for climbing, skating, or trampolines.
Johannes Mauritzen One of the best gyms in Stavanger. Located inside a mall with access to a few cafes and supermarkets around. A wide variety of boulders and routes and also the construction of a skate park. They have a kilter board as well which is handy when you get bored of the boulders.
